Re: Notes June 27,2002

Hey,

I went ahead and asked Bill about the possibility of giving a talk or
holding a workshop at the summit, so hopefully he should get back to
here in the next day or so.

I mentioned this to Nat [I think] a while back...but do you guys think
it would be a good idea to have a 'small' registration fee? Something
like $20 wouldn't hurt most people, but it might help towards the
running costs - and optionally help out some people with travel costs?

I gave Gary Little a mail trying to see if I could wangle any money out
of Sun - worth a try anyway so I guess we'll see how we get on with
that.

As for the possibility of fliers/guides for each person, I think it also
would be good to have a list of good pubs/restaurants to go in Boston.
I'm not totally familiar with the place, but obviously everyone can't go
to the same place if there's 75 people - Seville worked out okay, only
because of the high density of restaurants around the old city.

Um, can't think of much else....

				See ya,
					Glynn ;)
