Hi,
I have gnome-pilot 2.0.15-0ubuntu1 installed but I cannot connect with
my TREO 700p.

I also have pilot-link 0.12.2-7ubuntu1installed.
Hi Pete,
If you search the archives of this list you will find several reports of
users with 'timing problems' getting g-p to sync with current ubuntu.
Not being a 700p user I haven't been able to troubleshoot this issue,
unfortunately. Anything you could add to diagnose could be interesting.
By the way, does it work with 'pilot-xfer'?
For the moment, a workaround might be to configure network syncing.
Well, suddenly, it seems to be working -- after a fashion.
It terminates with "*** stack smashing detected ***: gpilotd terminated"
And t doesn't match up well -- some contacts and memos are duplicated!
Also, I think it's writing the PC\s files to the PDA!! That's not what I
call synchronizing!
I have a 160K log file that I will be happy to send to anyone willing to
take a look.
Thanks.
