Mandriva 2008 and libusb

Hi all,

I understand that a Palm LifeDrive should sync "out of the box" with
Mandriva 2007+later under libusb. I have tried under 2007, 2007.1 and
now 2008 without success. In my desperation to use my business tool I
reverted to the visor module under 2007.1 and it was very reliable. I
have upgraded to Mandriva 2008 and I am otherwise pleased with it, but
sync is really a major irritation.

As you can see the Palm LifeDrive is detected but it will not sync under
libusb0.1_4.

For some reason the visor module was loaded and I ran rmmod visor,
before trying the usb: setting.

If I have missed something glaringly obvious, please be gentle;-)
