N70 Not detectin problem

Hi
I recently bought a Nokia N70.And Ive been trying to connect it in
redhat linux el4 using gnome pilot unfortunately my phone itself is not
getting detected could you please help me out with this issue .All
other USB device that I have such as Pen Flash disk,Digital Camera
etc.. is getting detected very easily...
