What files do you want to install?  If you want to
install a prc or a pdb file, you can open a terminal
window and use:
  gpilot-install-file --now file.prc

Alternatively, you should be able to drag and drop a
prc or pdb file onto the 'sync' applet icon in the
panel bar.
