Hi everybody,
I've also updated the /usr/share/gnome-pilot/devices.xml file with this
line :
<device vendor_id="0830" product_id="0061" />
Then, when I plug the TE2 onto USB, and hotsync pressed, I've got :
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 2006-03-02 23:26 /dev/pilot -> ttyUSB1
So the connexion seems good.
On the dmesg, I've this :
[4306068.179000] visor ttyUSB0: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB0
[4306068.179000] visor ttyUSB1: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB1
I think this is ok
But I can't get my pilotID with the command "install-user"
And no sync is possible
NB : I've also added this line to the "/etc/udev/rules/00-init.rules" :
BUS="usb", SYSFS{product}="Palm Handheld*", KERNEL="ttyUSB[13579]",
SYMLINK="pilot"
Could you help me ?
My tungsten worked fine with ubuntu breezy, and now, I use Dapper Drake
I use :
- evolution 2.5.92
- gnome-pilot 2.0.13
- pilot-link version 0.11.8
- ubuntu dapper drake
note that my Tungsten E2 sync well under ubuntu breezy
Thanks
