Re: DNS problem using Treo with bluetooth. Fedora Core 3.

I know I definitely had that bug with a Sprint Treo650.

What I'd do next is try running ethereal on the ppp connection to see
what the Treo thinks it's doing when trying to resolve a name. That's
how I figured out to reverse the IP address in the first place.

Good luck.

Thanks Tessa, I feel like I'm so close to getting this working, yet still so far!

tethereal reports some interesting results, I'm not quite sure what they mean though.

When I ping 64.233.183.104 from my Treo tethereal -i ppp0 reports like this:

179.954508    10.0.0.10 -> 64.233.183.104 ICMP Echo (ping) request
179.988107 64.233.183.104 -> 10.0.0.10    ICMP Echo (ping) reply
180.950025    10.0.0.10 -> 64.233.183.104 ICMP Echo (ping) request

ping www.google.com it reports this:

Thanks again for all your help
