One a side note why is it that 'gpilotd' never seems to allow a kill.
Example:
wisej wizej:~/MyPilot> kill 21144
wisej wizej:~/MyPilot> ps -ef |grep pil
wisej 21144 1 0 15:13 ?
00:00:01 /opt/gnome/lib/gnome-pilot/gpilotd
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Pilot_Daemon --oaf-ior-fd=32
wisej 22625 5385 0 15:15 pts/2 00:00:00 grep pil
wisej wizej:~/MyPilot> kill -9 21144
wisej wizej:~/MyPilot> ps -ef |grep pil
wisej 21144 1 0 15:13 ?
00:00:01 /opt/gnome/lib/gnome-pilot/gpilotd
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Pilot_Daemon --oaf-ior-fd=32
wisej 22631 5385 0 15:16 pts/2 00:00:00 grep pil
wisej wizej:~/MyPilot>
Is this a SUSE thing?
Also, How can you get suse to automatically start gpilotd (and not load
ehci_hcd module .. if someone knows that one:>)
Current start method is:
1) 'rmmod ehci_hcd' -> SUSE bug which for some reason loads both old
and new USB modules
2) 'gpilotd-control-applet' to start the gpilotd deamon
3) Now sync will work.
