I don't know, but you can find out by looking at the file
'/proc/bus/usb/devices' just after attempting a hotsync from your zire.
You'll get a bunch of info on your USB hub and connected devices, and
you'll be looking for ones like:

P: Vendor=0830 ProdID=0031 Rev= 2.06
S: Manufacturer=Palm, Inc

In this case, the VendorID is 0830 and the ProductID is 0031.
Now you need to edit the file /usr/share/gnome-pilot/devices.xml.
You'll easily see the layout of the file, just copy an entry and paste
in the Vendor and Product ID for your zire. Now RESTART the gnome-pilot
process (killall gpilotd) and with any luck you should be in business.

Let us know what the value are so that the devices.xml file can get
updated for the next release.

Good luck,

Matt
