gpilotd crash when syncing calendar

When I try to sync my Palm Zire 31 with evolution, the todo-list and contact
sync OK but
whenever it tries to sync the calendar database, gpilotd crashes
immediately. Might this be a problem with the format of the calendar file?
Is there a way to inspect the contents of the calendar outside evolution (as
a text file) and maybe edit this file?
