Re: control timeout on ep0in



You could try increasing the timeout value in your device settings.  Mine is set to 10 (seconds) on Gentoo 2.6.9 and Evolution 2.0.2.

I still sometimes get the timeout error in the log but it works reliably so I'm not concerned.

Which kernel do you use exactly? The latest kernels provided by Fedora
are known to be broken for sync ( kernel-2.6.9-1.678_FCx and
kernel-2.6.9-1.681_FCx). The stock kernel that comes with this distro is
also a 2.6-9 kernel, but without the FC3 patches, and works with
gpilotd... I had to downgrade to that kernel too...
