Looking at the code for gnome-pilot, it looks like network hotsyncing is broken. This squares with most user experiences.
I think I've got this fixed now. The patches are against current CVS. It should work with the current gpilotd-control-applet: just create a new 'Device' and select 'Network' type. You then run 'pi-nredir -p [device]' on the machine to which the palm device connects, where [device] is /dev/pilot, /dev/ttyS0, etc., as appropriate for your palm. Feedback welcome, Matt
