David,

Back in September:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-pilot-list/2003-September/msg00081.html

you reported that my memofile patch didn't fix things for you, and said
you'd try again. Didn't hear any update after that, but yours was (and
is) the only failure I've heard of.

The bugzilla ticket
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114361
has got two patches, which should apply cleanly to the 2.0.10
distribution. Try a clean build, and possibly you'll want to make sure
you've deleted any existing memo-file sync directory (not sure if that's
an issue off the top of my head).

I'm a bit disheartened that this patch, which seems to successfully solve
problems affecting quite a few users people, hasn't been added to the CVS,
4 months after the patch was posted. Mind you, the gnome-pilot and
gnome-pilots-conduits CVS seems moribund at this time - the last checkin
of significance (i.e. not related to translation efforts) was back in
mid-August.

Regards,

Matt Davey
