I'm being ungracious here.  I should have check CVS before
my previous post.  Two of my pet hates have been fixed in CVS
in the past week.
  o  A list of supported devices is now maintained
     in an XML file, removing the need to recompile to support new
     devices.
  o  Also, the memo-file patch has been included.

I guess this'll mean a 2.0.11 release at some stage.
