some problems when syncronice

hi, i have a little problem, i have a Tungsten E and i'm using gpilot.
When tried to syncronize one of the folowing three things happened:
1) works fine without problems
2) total system freeze
3) the sincronize never begin and when i cancel the proccess, i can't
sincronice again without reboot, i think that the USB port was blocked.(
i tried to solve these restarting the gpilot but without luck)

i don't know why i have these problems :(.

PD: someone knows how to free the usb port?
