I thought I'd offer up a laundry list.
My system is running RH9, kernel 2.4.20-18.9, XD2, the latest release
of gnome-pilot and pilot-link, using Treo 260 for my PDA, Evo 1.4.4.
Things that work:
- syncing up tasks - OK
- syncing up schedule - OK
Things that don't work:
- syncing up causes my system to hang - syncs up successfully, then
the system hangs - everytime. I would fire up a console window and
sync up using /usr/libexec/gpilotd - this problem appeared on RH9, RH8,
the sync worked fine.
- memo files sync
- contacts sync fails to sync - if I delete the database, and
simply copy, it'll work sometimes, syncing fails - I have 2513 cards in
the file
- task categories - does not transfer to the pilot, categories do
not transfer from the pilot to evo
- as for the other conduits, I haven't tried those - they are not
critical to my daily work
I have seen the above issues littered throughout these archives, and am
curious if there are any explicit resolutions for these problems or are
these unique to my system?
With the tasks and schedule, this is the minimal functionality that
enables me to not go to the dark side!
