2.0.9 has certainly NOT hit testing. It's in unstable, which is quite
different. For that matter, 0.10 never even hit testing -- 0.8 is what's
in there now. I suspect you're running a mixed system.
For what it's worth, unstable contains evo 1.2.4, which is hopefully
able to deal with the new gnome-pilot.
