Deleted contacts keep showing back up...

Hi,
I use Evo 1.2.4 and gnome-pilot 0.1.71 under Mandrake 9.1, and I noticed
that when I delete a contact entry in Evo, then I sync my Palm, the
contact shows up again... And sometimes if I update a field in a contact
entry, then sync, the updated contact is shown as a new one, and the old
one is preserved...
Is this a known problem? Should I upgrade to the latest gnome-pilot?
