Need to remove file from install queue.

Hello,
Well I have a problem that is preventing me from installing any other
files.  I tried installing a file that was corrupted, so now when I try
to install it it gets 90% and hangs.  I can't get it to not try to
install it.  I would like to remove this file from the install queue.  I
have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the package but to no avail. 
How can I do this?
