Or just use the visor.c/visor.h files, put them into
$KERNEL_SRC_DIR/drivers/usb/serial, then execute:
make modules SUBDIRS=drivers/usb/serial
..and then:
make modules_install SUBDIRS=drivers/usb/serial

Then something is wrong. It should always report the 0.10.99 version
of pilot-link when you configure gnome-pilot. What was your --prefix when
you built pilot-link?

Did you also recompile evolution against the newly-compiled
gnome-pilot? That's a necessary step, after you build gnome-pilot against
the newly-compiled (and detected) pilot-link.
