gpilotd crashes after syncing via IrDA

Hey all,

I am currently having issues syncing via IrDA.  I am running:
Kernel: 2.4.2-2
pilot-link: 0.9.5
gnome-pilot: 0.1.61

Looking at the output possible a memory leak somewhere? I see lots of
garbage characters.

Here is what i see at the end:
