The backup conduit mangles important data base info.

Hello everyone,

I may have found a very, very, *very* nasty bug in gnome-pilot. It
seems the backup conduit is mangling the backed up data bases. For the
"standard" applications, the categories information is lost. Beyond
losing this info, it makes the pilot crash badly if I try to restore
the LaucherDB data base.

Using pilot-link I do not experience this problem. I first noticed
this problem after I upgraded to gnome-pilot 0.1.61.

Please, verify if this bug occurs with your setup.

Better, make me happy by proving it is just something I'm doing wrong.
:)
I'm using an aging Palm III that insists in draining the batteries
vary fast, so I end up restoring all bases every 3 or 4 months.

I've filed a bug report in:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62431
with more information and two copies of my LaucherDB, one extracted
with pilot-link and the other extracted with gnome-pilot.

Thanks for any help,

Gustavo
