Having a lot of trouble using the new gnome-pilot, pilot-link

I downloaded the latest releases of these packages (gnome-pilot 0.1.61,
gnome-pilot-conduits-0.6, pilot-link 0.9.6), and I've been having
nothing but trouble since I started.

The first problem was that gnome-pilot did not compile.  There were
several header files that pointed either to the wrong prefix to include
other header files, or didn't have the correct directory listed.
Basically several header files were mixed up between gpilotd/ and
libgpilotdCM.  I don't remember what was what, but I had to edit several
header files to get things to compile.

The next round of fun began when I tried to configure my Pilot (Palm
IIIe on a serial port).  Basically, the druid did not work at all.  If
gpilotd was running, the control center panel did not show anything.
The only way to get the conduits or the pilot configure window to show
was to manually kill gpilotd.  And I could not get it to retrieve my
Pilot settings.  I had to go through several steps of watching gpilotd
output to determine my ID #, etc.  Basically for every step along the
way, I have to manually kill gpilotd because it blocks the next dialog
from appearing.

Finally, when I got past all that, I tried setting my conduits.  The
EAddress conduit gave me an error dialog about not being able to
instantiate it when I tried to enable it.  And when I tried to sync my
Pilot, gpilotd segfaulted right after completing the calendar conduit
sync.  When I try to enable the MemoFile conduit, it crashes with the
backtrace shown below.  I haven't tried any of the other ones yet.

Are any of these problems common/known issues?  I'd like to start
testing out my Pilot with Evolution (I was able to compile Evolution
with these releases, to my surprise).  However, configuring a Palm pilot
has always been problematic (I tried going through this about a year ago
on my old machine, but I don't remember having this much trouble).  What
can I do to either make it better on my machine or give feedback so it
works?

One final question is, where is bugzilla for gnome-pilot?  It doesn't
appear to be at bugzilla.eazel.com, as mentioned in the README.

P.S.  There's a grammar error in the one-line help when you select Pilot
Link in control-center.  It should read
"Configure the link between the user's Pilot and the computer."
