Excluding databases from backup?

I'm just switching to gnome-pilot from using PilotManager. I've installed the
1.54 release of gnome-pilot.
Is there a way to exclude databases from being backed up by the backup
conduit? PilotManager lets you do things like ignore the ever changing (and
huge) AvantGo database.
