I downloaded and compiled both new packages and deleted conduits* from .gnome/*pilot*.  Then
when I tried to set the address book conduit, I got this message:

address-conduit-capplet: error in loading shared libraries: address-conduit-capplet: undefined
symbol: gpilotd_init

I'm trying to track it down now, but any help would be appreciated.
