Next time it happens, get the pid of gpilotd ("ps -ax|grep gpilotd"), and
attach to it via gdb ("gdb - <pid>"). At the prompt, type where and mail
the stack trace here, it might give a clue as to where it gets stuck.

These files are just config files for the conduits. So removing that
should just make the conduit default its settings.
