compiling Imlib

Hello people,

I'm trying to compile the GNOME libs in Solaris 2.7 in my local directory.
Everything was ok, till I tried to install Imlib. I got the folloing
error messages:

/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -o libimlib-gif.la -rpath
/impa/home/o/fpcj/files/bleeding/lib -avoid-version io-gif.lo -lungif
rm -fr .libs/libimlib-gif.la .libs/libimlib-gif.* .libs/libimlib-gif.*
gcc -shared io-gif.lo -lungif -lc -Wl,-soname -Wl,libimlib-gif.so -o
.libs/libimlib-gif.so
/usr/local/sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1/bin/ld: cannot open -lungif: No such
file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [libimlib-gif.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/impa/home/o/fpcj/files/n/imlib-1.9.10/gdk_imlib'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/impa/home/o/fpcj/files/n/imlib-1.9.10'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

The message says: "cannot open -lungif: No such file or directory"
I don't know why it happens. I have libpng, libungif, etc. compiled
and installed in /impa/home/o/fpcj/files/bleeding/lib .
Could anyone help me with this problem?

PS: the only option I passed to configure was
 --prefix=/impa/home/o/fpcj/files/bleeding

Thanks,
Francisco.
