Hi folks! As most (all, I hope) of you already know, there's a GNOME
1.4.1 release planned in the next month or so. (I'm not really sure
when it will be just yet). I'd like to make a go at having binaries
available with this release. As a preliminary list, I want to have
packages for Red Hat 7 (if you haven't upgraded past 6 on a workstation,
it's probably time), Debian (whatever version makes sense, I guess), and
whoever else we have volunteers for. Do any of the debian guys read
this list? I've been telling people that 2-3 days after the packages
are collected we can have binaries ready to go out. Is this realistic?
Can we do this for the 1.4.1 betas as well as the final release? Let me
know what you think, and stay tuned for a couple more messages,
Greg
