Introducing myself

Hi! :)
    I'm new in this list... I introduce myself. My name is Germano Rizzo,
I'm 23 and I'm an italian student, attending electronic engineery in Padua
university. I've been interested in Linux for 4 years now, and I've followed
GNOME for about 1 year and half.
    I have more than some experience in GNOME programming (in C), autoconf &
automake script building, and RPM packaging; I coded and maintain (& package
;) a game called GnomerMind, and for it I had to learn to use these
environments.
    I hope to be of some help; I noticed that GNOME 1.4 is a little bit
defective in such aspects as RPM building (i.e. rpm .tb), I posted something
about this on gnome-devel some time ago; now I hope I'll be able to give a
contribution. I have a RH7 (updated with the latest updates)and a RH6 at
home; at university I've access to Solaris 8, but it doesn't have the
gnome-libs installed... :(
    I wonder what is the usual procedure... I'm new, so please explain me
what could I do, or I may just follow the list... anyway, I'm here, glad to
meet you!
