Hello,

I just wanted to say that the Totem Movie Player is a nice program
when you can get it to work properly.  It seems to work better using the
xine backend drivers better than the gstreamer drivers.  Just a
suggestion for future development: It would be great if the program
could tell you what specific drivers are needed when they are not all
installed.  For example, I have Totem installed on my desktop and it
says, "Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because you do not
have the appropriate plugins to handle it.  Please install the necessary
plugins and restart Totem to be able to play this media."  Of course,
this does not tell me what plugins are necessary to install.  The
program would be a lot easier to use if I knew what plugins were
necessary.  Currently, I am using Scientific Linux 5.1 as my desktop
operating system and I cannot use the xine-backend for Totem because the
Totem-Xine software was not designed for this operating system, thus I
am forced to use the G-streamer backend, which for the most part, is
difficult to use.
