I noticed a few broken pieces in the implementation (e.g.
ASD_SAMPLE_TYPE/ASD_SAMPLE_FORMAT/ASD_SAMPLE_RATE are throwbacks to esd,
but fairly easily fixed to use a struct instead). In addition, the whole
source/sink thing is a bit too much for the simple sound server desired
(the media framework should take care of that part of things). But, this
dude has made solid steps toward a good solution, which is more than can
be said of anyone else...
