Right is my modification, left is the default. Right has a slightly (0.2px)
blurred text and icon shadows, slight toolbar gradient and box-shadow inset
in the active toggle buttons. I think it already looks much better than the
default.


Do you have a patch for that, somewhere in Bugzilla?
