To build gnome 2.30, set in your ~/.jhbuildrc file:

moduleset = 'gnome2/gnome-2.30'
modules = ['meta-gnome-desktop']

The modulesets were recently reorganised. The documentation and web page
have been updated to reflect this reorganisation. Also you may need to
update your JHBuild.
