[gnome-love] Thanks for your support !

Thanks Thierry for you support and Elijah for your feedback...

And sorry if I was kind of defensive... It's just my first message on the mailing list and i'm pretty sure you already had here people who just arrived and told you they wanted things done this or that way, without the minimum knowledge of the project nor respect for else's work. And it must be kind of annoying... Well I'll try to be more relax from now :-))

Elijah : I followed your advice and removed the packaging/business entries, but I don't have enough knowledge of the structure of the project to best describe the "development effort", as you pointed there's no "developer team". How would you describe it ?

Also, if you don't remember talking to me on IRC, it may be because i was logged using my internet nickname (liberforce, as in my email address). It was on the week between between christmas and the new year... It gave me some time to find at work the right links to put in my document :-)

BTW i'm also having problems in building from cvs with jhbuild. I resolved the howl problem following intructions found in the mailing list, but a few apps still don't compile...

===============

Here's some trace :

[liberforce localhost liberforce]$ jhbuild sanitycheck
db2html not found

I don't find this package in my mandrake 10.1, nor nothing similar. What is it used for ?

[liberforce localhost liberforce]$ urpmq 2html
The following packages contain 2html :
bibtex2html
code2html
ht2html
latex2html
lyx2html
rpm2html
rpm2html-mysql
tetex-texi2html
texi2html

And here is the result of compiling nautilus-cd-burner. Nautilus and meta-nautilus were successfully compiled before... but nautilus-cd-burner and nautilus-media still resist...

=================

It seems I don't have the good version for libnautilus-extension, but I don't know why, because nautilus was successfully built...

[liberforce localhost liberforce]$ find /opt/gnome2/lib -name eel*
/opt/gnome2/lib/pkgconfig/eel-2.0.pc
[liberforce localhost liberforce]$ find /opt/gnome2/lib -name libnautilus-extension*

/opt/gnome2/lib/libnautilus-extension.so.1.0.0
/opt/gnome2/lib/libnautilus-extension.so.1
/opt/gnome2/lib/libnautilus-extension.so
/opt/gnome2/lib/libnautilus-extension.la

Any idea ?
Thanks in advance for your help...
