Hi,
I'm trying to build gnome with jhbuild. The build process stops when I
build howl. Output is then
gcc -DHOWL_KERNEL -o autoipd autoip.o linux_autoip.o posix_main.o
../../src/lib/ howl/.libs/libhowl.so -lpthread -Wl,--rpath
-Wl,/home/haitsma/Programming/gnome2 /howl-0.9.8/src/lib/howl/.libs
-Wl,--rpath -Wl,/opt/gnome2/lib
gcc: linux_autoip.o: No such file or directory
gcc: posix_main.o: No such file or directory
If I look at the build output of howl at the GNOME tinderbox page
http://gnome-build.ximian.com/tinderbox/LATEST/
Among others these lines are in the build output which do not occur on
my machine
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../include -I../../include/
-DHOWL_KERNEL -c Linux/linux_autoip.c -MT linux_autoip.lo -MD -MP -MF
.deps/linux_autoip.TPlo -o linux_autoip.o >/dev/null 2>&1
This of course takes care that the linux_autoip.o gets build.
On http://gnome-build.ximian.com/tinderbox/LATEST/ I also see that howl
somehow gets patched, though I don't see anything about it in the
detailed output.
So I suspect that somehow howl gets patched and it doesn't on my
machine. Does anybody have a clue what I should do to get it to build??
Thanks
Jaap
