[gnome-love] Gnome2 ppp application

Is there one released or currently in development?  I
know about the modem lights applet, but it doesn't meet
the requirements of being a easy to set up a connection
without already having working scripts.

If there isn't already one in development is there
anyone here who would be willing to work on this?  All
I've managed so far is to make a mock-up of a ui, and
I'm fairly worthless when it comes to writing a
application.

I realize that dialup programs aren't of as high a
priority today as they used to be, but for those of us
stuck with it, kppp is just a ugly solution.
