Hello,
I wondered if gnome registry could handle a user info which every application could point to
retrieve e-mail adress, irc nickname, Real name, Phone, etc... as in /etc/passwd
and also http proxy, pop server, etc...
In this case, Evolution and sylpheed and every communicatin app could share the 
same user information. It would be very good for the end-user who just would have
to enter his info once for all.
