[gnome-love] Arcs + Polygons with GnomeCanvas

I'm hoping someone can help me with this, because I have been all over
the web, but I haven't been able to figure this out.

I know one can draw ellipses, rectangles and polygons in GnomeCanvas,
but how does one draw an arc PLUS a polygon and make it the same item?
I know you can do this in GDK, but I want to do it in GnomeCanvas. 
There SHOULD be a way, correct?

Can someone let me know if there is anyway to do this?
