Just to make things clear -- you're saying that with GTK+ 2 and your
to-be-committed Canvas2 fixes, I should have a totally different
scheduling?
Because with GNOME 1, I use a GTK+ idle handler with the default priority,
which is lower than the GNOME 1 canvas's priority which I guess is the
same as the main GTK+ redraw priority.
