[gnome-love] gnome-vim bonobo component

Hi all,

I've created a bonobo component which embeds VIM inside a zvt widget, and
implements part of the GtkHTML interface. It works with Evolution (if you
hack evolution a bit so that it knows about gnome-vim).

You can check it out at http://www.opensky.ca/gnome-vim

I'd be interested to hear what people think.

Since I'm new to the list, I thought I should introduce myself.
I've been a gnome user for about 2 years (and a free software
user for about 5), and though I wrote a panel applet (gsysinfo)
and made a few other hacks I've never really spent much time
on the gnome mailing lists or on IRC.

When applied for membership to the Gnome foundation, though, and
started following some of the election debates I thought I'd like
to get to know the community behind Gnome a bit more, I'd
like help with Gnome a bit more (spare time permitting) and
I'd like to get my contributions (gsysinfo and perhaps gnome-vim,
too) into the "official" gnome distribution, so that more
users can benefit from them. So how _does_ one get a CVS account,
anyways? (just kidding, I found the FAQ ;-)

I've cc'd the gnome-love list, because I want to let the
Gnome community at large know that I've 'come out' of lurker
mode, and that seems like the place where most new developers
get to know people.
