Hi,
We are planning to use gnome-help-browser in our application to load
our helpdocument. We came to know that gnome-help-caller is used for
loading user documents. But we couldn't find a man page for using
gnome-help-caller.Let us know how to use gnome-help-caller.
I hoped someone else would pick up on this, because I am not
certain of my facts here.
But it's my understanding that the gnome-help-browser program is
slowly on the way out, and will disappear at some stage in GNOME
2.0, being replaced by Nautilus.
Telsa is correct.
gnome-help-browser is being replaced, under the current plan, with Nautilus.
Whether it is GHB or Nautilus, using it in GNOME 1.x is straightforward.
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/GGAD/sec-help.html explains the code
needed to create a help menu entry.
If you need to call help directly, such as from a button you create
yourself, use gnome_help_display:
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/libgnome/gnome-gnome-help.html#GNOME-HELP-DISPLAY
