How can one disable print notifications in GNOME Shell?
There is no such option in "Notifications" settings.
I tried "gsettings set
org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.print-notifications active false" but
it has no effect

$ sudo rpm -e system-config-printer-applet

This seems to have stopped the notifications. And the Printers under
the GNOME settings tools still appears and is functional
