gEdit help broken

I just downloaded and installed gEdit 2.6. I clicked on Help > Contents and received this error message:
There was an error displaying the help. No application is registered as handling this file.
I am currently using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. What application needs to be registered and for what file type?
