mount a sdhc card as read/write

OK,

This should not be hard but in gnome3 it seem to be hidden.

I have an sdhc card which I want to use for my rasberry-pi and I want to mount it read write.
I am running fedora 17 and when I plug them in they always mount read write.  How do I get the SDHC cards to mount read write.
