I get the following error messages related to pam

user= rhost=  user=root
May 29 08:50:26 localhost unix_chkpwd[13724]: check pass; user unknown

any message in /var/log/{message,secure} about
xscreensaver/gnome-screensaver w.r.t. pam ?
