No. Lack of response doesn't mean it's a stupid question -- but that no
one knows the answer. Well, or lack of time... ;)

First of, you'd need to tell more details. Which files are affected? Any
pattern they share or a way to reliably reproduce this? Then you might
be more lucky on a specialized mailing list, like the Nautilus one. If
you can reproduce the issue, you even could file a bug in bugzilla,
giving as much info as possible.
