suggestions for gnome

iam gnomeuser since 2 years and i like gnome very much. but there are a
few things which disturbing me.

1. when you minmaze a window a animation are showed: the framework of
the minimazed window disappears in the taskbar. iam searching for a way
to deactivate this effect.

2. its possible to set gnome that its allowed to change the windowsize
with alt+mousebutton right? it would be more comfortable for the user if
he has the possibilty to realize this.
