I have this entry in ~/.local/share/applications, but it is invisible to the
menu. It is a gnome-control-center entry:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Gnome Control Center
Comment=Gnome Control Center
Exec=gnome-control-center
GenericName=Control Center
Icon=gnome-control-center
Path=
StartupNotify=false
Terminal=false
TerminalOptions=
Type=Application
X-KDE-SubstituteUID=false
X-KDE-Username=
GenericName[en_US]=Gnome Control Center
Categories=System Tools;

Like I said, the menu doesn't see it.
Thanks!
