Encoding recoding in Nautilus

Hi,

Does anybody know who can make recoding/encoding options in Nautilus?.
Because it's very unconvinient in using ftp servers that have
charset(codepage) different from utf(CP1251, KOI8-R).
Or if you have files with names in other codepage it inpossible to
reading :(.
