Duplicated menus after upgrade to GNOME-2.4.0

I use a RedHat8 box with GNOME and KDE both installed. I upgrade to
GNOME 2.4.0 using garnome-0.27.1. After installed, I started GNOME-2.4.0
by following the instruction on http://www.gnome.org/~jdub/garnome/. But
there are duplicated menus in applications-all-users: one from old
GNOME, the other from new GNOME, even there are some menus from KDE. How
can I exclude the old menus? Thanks!
